FAQ K1 Basketball

Our K1 program is 100% in house, so anybody can signup.
Our K1 league is 100% contained to Saturday mornings, so everything happens an hour each week.
Each player is ranked by their parents and then split evenly in an upper and lower division, becasue of this some request cannot be met.
The priority is to form balanced teams. This means that most times request cannot be honored.
Things start the first weekend of December and end the 2nd or 3rd week of February, with a 10 game schedule.

The best answer to this is on our Did you know page. For basketball specific we use our basketball money to fund most of our donations to the school system. We have league fees and referee fees. Plus our clock and concession workers are paid so parents are not expected to do these task.
Not within BCRL, however sometimes children play on a team at one of the commercial operations in the area and a BCRL team, this too is okay.
BCRL Basketball is a grade based sport. Your child will play on a team entirely made of his grade.
